All classes are available exclusively through live online remote training
Summary: Springhouse updates status of training amid the COVID-19 / Coronavirus health crisis
By Adrienne Cooper, VP, Education
With the news of COVID-19 consuming the headlines, we want to share our status for those currently registered or considering enrollment in training at Springhouse. We are closely monitoring the situation and participating in all Coronavirus conference calls for business leaders hosted by the Chester County Health Department and other local officials.
All instructor-led training hosted by Springhouse takes place using live online remote access for students. Out of an abundance of caution, Springhouse will maintain this plan in compliance with the Governor of Pennsylvania’s direction until further notice.
Remote access for all instructor-led classes
Every single one of our instructor-led training programs will be delivered remotely in its entirety. We are communicating with students to switch their enrollment to a our Live Online option. Using state-of-the-art interactive technology (i.e. GoToMeeting), remote students will experience all the same benefits of live classroom training with convenience and from a comfortable social distance. During this Coronavirus health situation, all Springhouse instructors are fully prepared to support the attendance and participation of remote students through the use of online technology for all courses.
How to access Live Online training
No less than two business days prior to their class, Springhouse technical support will email all the appropriate instructions, along with access to digital courseware and online lab environments as required. Technical support also provides the opportunity to test the student’s ability to connect in advance.
High level requirements for remote learning are:
- High-speed internet access
- A PC or laptop
- Two-way audio this can be
- Your computer’s speakers/microphone (a headset is beneficial)
- A telephone
- Dual-monitors is advantageous

Our building is closed, but all classes are still in session
In compliance with Pennsylvania state officials, our headquarters is current closed. Since March 23, our staff and instructors have been working remotely and are still assisting clients, partners, and students via email or phone. All students are currently accessing their training remotely.
Leading up to this state-wide shutdown for social distancing, we had been taking all the safety measures recommended by state officials to maintain a healthy work and classroom environment. We were taking extra precautions with the daily cleaning of our classrooms, equipment, and common areas of our facility. Students always have access to sinks to wash their hands with soap and water. Additionally, we equipped every room and common area with ample disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer for students to use as needed. Plus, the owners of our building increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting surfaces in the entrances, lobbies, staircases, elevators, and restrooms.
So while this health situation is still fluid and subject to change, it is our intention to be in full compliance of governing officials, while still providing the highest level of educational excellence that we always have.
We value our relationship with our students and their respective organizations. If conditions cause a change in any way to our operating procedures we will notify students via email or phone call, as well as through our website and social channels.
