Springhouse’s newest course – Scrum Master Certification Prep – teaches all the concepts of Scrum and intentionally focuses on preparing you for Scrum Master certification.

To do that, the agenda concentrates on key Scrum concepts, teaches best practices for taking the assessment, and reviews test-like questions. This approach reinforces Scrum Master topics and concepts covered on the exam.

The Scrum Master Certification Prep ($995) class and our Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master™ ($1,395) course both introduce the Scrum framework and its events, artifacts, and roles. Plus, they include a second certification attempt (within 30 days or 14 days, respectively) at no additional cost.

However, an individual focused on certifying their knowledge will find the Scrum Master Certification Prep course aligns with their objective. It places a heavier emphasis on how to prepare for the PSM I assessment.

How to prep for Scrum Master certification

During two days of virtual instructor-led training, the Scrum Master Certification Prep curriculum will:

  • Reiterate the core components of Scrum, including roles, events, and artifacts
  • Teach the core principles and values of Scrum
  • Review the Scrum Guide
  • Explore common exam questions, formats, logistics
  • Deliver study tips and extra materials for offline studying
  • Provide sample assessments to gauge readiness

This course is taught by an instructor certified as a PSM, PSPO, as well as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Learning from a trainer who is well-versed in multiple styles of managing projects will be helpful to professionals who need to blend traditional project management and Agile.

In addition to open-enrollment training, Springhouse supports businesses on their Agile and Scrum journey by offering consulting, coaching, and private corporate training

Noteworthy: The Scrum Master Certification Prep course is not part of the Scrum.org curriculum. Springhouse is a member of Scrum.org Global Professional Training Network (PTN). We collaborate with Scrum.org to offer a full catalog of Scrum classes taught by Professional Scrum Trainers (PST).
