Network Support Specialist Program

The Network Support Specialist Program prepares individuals for network support careers, including help desk support specialists, IT technicians, and junior cyber security specialists. This learning track provides a wonderful entry into the IT industry or an opportunity for those with experience to earn some important industry-recognized credentials to validate their skills.

Participants in this program will begin their journey with training in CompTIA’s A+ Certification program to install, upgrade, configure, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on computer hardware and software. Students will be prepared to sit for the A+ Core 1 and A+ Core 2 exams. Students with at least two years of previous IT experience may substitute the A+ Certification for alternate IT courses, such as Microsoft Azure Administrator or ITIL 4 Foundations.

Students then build upon their technical knowledge by developing fundamental skills and concepts in networking with CompTIA’s Network+ Certification course. This intensive class focuses on IT infrastructure and covers troubleshooting, configuring, and managing networks. 

Students will complete their learning track with CompTIA’s Security+ Certification course, which is a highly sought-after credential that validates the baseline skills you need to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. Security+ establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs. 

The courses include a combination of step-by-step lecture and hands-on labs to provide students the ultimate learning experience. As an official CompTIA Academy Partner, Springhouse provides students with the CompTIA CertMaster materials once training is complete. The package includes a full e-learning course comprised of videos, flash cards, and performance-based questions for additional reinforcement and exam prep.

The Network Support Specialist Program includes all courseware, hands-on labs, and exam vouchers.
