The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credential is for professionals who have the skills to successfully implement a particular Microsoft product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization. Passing any one Microsoft technical exam earns an individual the credential of MCP in the associated technology that the exam was completed in.

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification will advance your career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully manage and troubleshoot system environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system. The achieve the MCSA credential, candidates are required to pass a total of four exams including 3 core and 1 elective. By completing these exams, candidates provide a valid and reliable measure of technical proficiency and expertise to successfully manage and maintain the typically complex computing environment of medium-to-large-sized companies. MCSA candidates should have 6–12 months of experience administering client and network operating systems.

Microsoft offers two different instructor-led training programs. One program targets candidates who have previous networking experience in the IT industry or have already achieved A+/Network+ certification, while the other program is designed for candidates without previous networking experience. Our two program options are listed in the tables below. Students may select individual courses in the MCSA program that compliment their previous experience, budget or career goals or join the full certification program.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

The Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification is the premier credential in the IT industry as it is the highest level of networking certification attainable by a Microsoft IT Professional. Achieving the MCSE certification shows an individual is capable of analyzing business requirements, and designing and implementing the infrastructure for business solutions based on the Microsoft Windows Server system.

To achieve the MCSE credential, individuals are required to pass a total of 7 exams, including 6 core and 1 elective. The table below illustrates the Springhouse recommended program to complete this certification. Students may select individual courses in the MCSE program that compliment their previous experience, budget or career goals or join the full certification program.
